VENUE PROVIDED AUDIO MIXER
PESI orders an audio mixer for all videographer assigned events. No matter what, do not let the venue take this rented audio mixer away even if you end up needing to or prefer using your own personal audio mixer.
PESI paid for the audio mixer and it serves typically as a primary mixer but also serves double duty as both a backup to your own audio mixer.
Audio mixers with aux send make life a lot easier especially when it comes to Speakers with Mac OS laptop and video clips in their presentation. If the venue provided audio mixer does not have Aux Send capability, ask venue Staff if they have another audio mixer available that does have an Aux Send.
Above: Even if venue only has Shure microphone mixers and you use your own audio mixer, do not let the Venue take it away such as: "Looks like you're not using this?"

Audio mixer / wireless receivers at your tech table. If not - move it and have staff reroute cabling
Typically Aux Send to camera / Main Out to Room amplification
Maintain about -6db peaks in your camera audio meters (check your manual if you're unsure where this is on LCD overlay) by adjusting audio mixer
Test audio to room so it's at a comfortable level, no feedback (or edge of feedback)
